Refund policy

LUMI 1 year guarantee
LUMI is designed to last forever - and we stand by this. With proper care your LUMI should work for decades. That is why we are happy to offer a 1 yr guarantee where at any point you are unsatisfied, you can return your LUMI for a full refund.

The most common issues we see is:
1. LUMI tube popping out of the magnet (can be reglued and repaired, which we do!)
2. LUMI tube cracking along the magnetic clasp area, caused by wear and tear and lots of rotating around the magnetic area. We are working to reduce the chances of this happening with ongoing product development. 

To start a return, you can contact us at glow@lightbynyoka.com with photos of your issue. When your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

Why one year?
Well, we can take responsibilty for LUMI issues in year one that may be quality control issues, in fact we appreciate knowing! Beyond the 1 year, we expect that your LUMI has been in use well and should continue working as expected, barring excessively rough usage. So please take care of your LUMI, rinse it off, and keep it glowing!

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can replace your LUMI.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
